As eagerly awaited as any Pixar movie can be, the upcoming family film Brave (from the animation studio that gave the world Toy Story, Cars, and Up) promises to bring all the fantasy, adventure, and Scotland, anyone could crave in a family film for the next generation; including a scene that’s very reminiscent of Disney’s Robin Hood; as seen in the newly released clip below.
Brave follows an ancient Scottish princess named Merida (voiced by Boardwalk Empire/Trainspotting’s Kelly Macdonald) who ignores the wishes of her parents (voiced by The Last Samurai’s Billy Connolly and Love Actually’s Emma Thompson) and inadvertently brings chaos to her homeland in the film which also features the voice talents of Julie Walters (Harry Potter), Robbie Coltrane (From Hell), Kevin McKidd (Rome) and Craig Ferguson (Kick-Ass), and is due to be released on June 22nd in the US, before making its slow journey to UK screens on August 17th.
