She’s well known for playing roles that demand a person much more mature than her age would warrant, but soon Chloë Grace Moretz (Let Me In) will be tackling one of her darkest roles yet, when she appears as the titular telekinetic teen Carrie, in the upcoming remake of the classic Stephen King horror movie; the poster for which can now be seen on the right, along with the official teaser trailer below.
Directed by Kimberly Pierce (Boys Don’t Cry) the new adaptation of the classic horror will focus much more on the psychological aspects of the relationship between the troubled teen Carrie, and her zealous mother Margaret (Julianne Moore, Chloe), before reaching a head with the infamous prom prank that will cause her to unleash the full extent of her wrath, when Carrie is released on March 15th in the US, before making its official UK release date on April 5th.
