Returning to their world of talking cars, Pixar’s Cars 3 will place the former race-track prodigy Lightning McQueen as an ageing veteran, who’s finding it far more difficult to keep up with his younger competition; as seen in the brand new trailer below.
With Owen Wilson once again voicing McQueen, and facing off against a hot new speedster known as Storm (Armie Hammer, The Lone Ranger), Cars 3 will once again feature the voice talents of Bonnie Hunt, Tony Shalhoub, Cheech Marin, Larry The Cable Guy (Mater), and of course John Ratzenberger, when the Brian McFee directed film is released on 16 June in the US, and before its official UK release date on 14 July.
