While The Dark Knight Rises may have spelled the end of his days as the caped crusader and finally finished the immensely successful Christopher Nolan Batman series, it’s far from ended the career of Christian Bale; as the former Dark Knight has now entered talks to star in The Creed of Violence.
Adapted from Boston Teran’s novel of the same name, The Creed of Violence would see Bale taking on the guise of an assassin named Rawbone, who’s son works for the Bureau of Investigation, and may not be too keen on Rawbone’s plan to take a lorry-load of stolen weapons south of the border to make some money during the 1910 Mexican Revolution.
Scripted, and due to be directed, by Todd Field (Little Children), The Creed of Violence will also see Rawbone caught, and agreeing to continue his plan in order to capture the corrupt oil barons at the heart of the uprising, and secure immunity from prosecution, when the film starts filming in the South West US, and Mexico, at the beginning of next year.
