Best known for his turn as the brilliant, and effortlessly comic, SHIELD Agent Phil Coulson (most recently seen in a little known Marvel movie called The Avengers), Clark Gregg will soon be expanding his acting horizons, and appearing in the upcoming Jason Reitman dramedy Labor Day.
Already starring Kate Winslet (Titanic), Josh Brolin (No Country For Old Men), and James Van Der Beek (Dawson’s Creek), the latest film from the Juno director has been adapted from Joyce Maynard’s novel, and will follow a divorcee (Winslet) who accidentally picks up an escaped convict (Brolin), and thankfully finds him not looking to harm her and her son, but actually teaching her son a few welcome life-lessons.
As of yet there’s. No word on exactly who Clark Gregg will be playing in the new movie, or exactly when Labor Day will be released, but if you’re looking to see Gregg sometime before next year, you can always catch him in The Avengers (which was reviewed by us here).
