While one of his more recent roles sees him donning a dress and playing a transvestite (for a BBC drama), the latest film role for Sean Bean will see the Sharpe and Lord of the Rings star chasing terrorists, as an undercover operatives, in the upcoming action movie Cleanskin; the trailer for which can now be seen below.
Sean Bean will play the undercover Ewan, chasing a rather dangerous terrorist named Ash (played by newcomer Abhin Galeya); who’s busy not only trying to avoid all the bullets and knives Ewan’s throwing at him, but reflecting on the path that first led him down the road to terrorism.
Featuring a number of iconic British locations (as you may expect from a British thriller), Cleanskin will also co-star Michelle Ryan (Eastenders, The Bionic Woman), Charlotte Rampling (Melancholia), and Tuppence Middleton (Connect), when it’s released on March 9th in both the UK and Ireland (no US release date is confirmed as yet).
