Coming from actor/director Guillaume Canet (Tell No One), the upcoming crime movie Blood Ties has been adapted from the French Les Liens Du Sang, and has just signed a number of rather big name actors to appear, alongside the already attached Marion Cotillard (Inception); including Clive Owen (Trust), Mila Kunis (Friends With Benefits), and Billy Crudup (Almost Famous).
Co-written by James Gray (We Own The Night), Blood Ties will find Crudup playing a police officer who convinces his older brother (Owen), a former-criminal, to help his family by returning to the underworld for a time, in the movie which will see Cotillard and Kunis playing the brothers’ love interests, and will hopefully begin filming next month in New York, but is still lacking an official release date.
