Strictly following her father’s words; “Never forget where you came from”; a young woman who witnessed the murder of both her parents as a child, grew up to not only become a ruthlessly efficient killer, but to use her talents in an effort to find the mobster responsible for her parents’ death, and exact her revenge upon him, in Colombiana; the upcoming movie which recently had its first trailer released online (now available to view below).
Starring Zoe Saldana (Avatar) as the femme fatale and expert killer Cataleya; who works for her uncle as a hitman by day, and spends her free time conducting vigilante murders to bring herself closer to her parents’ murderers; Colombiana was written by Luc Besson (the action writer/producer behind Leon and La Femme Nikita) and Robert Mark Kamen (who wrote Besson’s Taken), and clearly features some great action.
And while countless male viewers will relish getting to see Zoe Saldana in a catsuit, ladies will also enjoy seeing her alongside Alias’ Michael Vartan in the movie that’s due to be released on September 2nd in the US, but as of yet doesn’t have a UK release date scheduled (although judging by the quality of the trailer, it’s only a matter of time).
