Continuing to hammer, hack, and slash, home the idea that Marcus Nispel’s (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) upcoming remake of Conan the Barbarian will not be a family friendly adventure tale, and a pleasant romp through a lush fantasy land, the newly released clip from the film features a young Conan brutally murdering a band of crazed warriors in a forest, when he was only a child, and can now be seen below.
Game of Thrones’ Jason Momoa stars as the titular barbarian, and is joined by Stephen Lang (Avatar), Rachel Nichols (Star Trek), Rose McGowan (Charmed), and Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy), in the action movie which supposedly stays much truer to Robert E. Howard’s classic novels than the Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, and is due to be released on August 19th in the US, before making its way onto UK cinema screen on August 26th.
