With the release date drawing ever closer (there’s now less than two weeks to go until the Bat is back), we’re seeing yet more and more marketing for The Dark Knight Rises; the final chapter, and apparently ‘epic conclusion’, to director Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy; and as a result we’ve now been treated to a new selection of images, and a fairly lengthy featurette introducing all of the movie’s characters (both of which are available to view below).
Christian Bale will once again picking up the mantle of tortured soul Bruce Wayne/Batman in the new movie which introduces infamous comic Bat-villains Bane (Tom Hardy, Warrior) and Catwoman (Anne Hathaway, Love and Other Drugs) to the franchise, and once again welcomes Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Gary Oldman to the fray (alongside newcomers Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt; both of whom worked with Hardy and Nolan on Inception), and is due to be released on July 20th in both the US and UK.
