It was only a matter of days ago that we saw the release of the first official trailer for Tim Burton’s (Alice in Wonderland) next movie, Dark Shadows (now available to view here), yet already we have the next piece of marketing available to view below; in the form of 9 brand new character banners.
Adapted from the classic TV show of the same name, Dark Shadows will follow the wealthy playboy Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp, Edward Scissorhands) as he’s cursed by a jealous witch (Eva Green, Casino Royale), turned into a vampire, buried alive, found, and unleashed on a rather unsuspecting 1972; where he tries to get to grips with all the technological advances he’s missed, as well as repairing the cracks in his descendants family, and restoring the family business to its former glory.
Co-starring Michelle Pfeiffer (Batman Returns), Chloe Moretz (Let Me In), Johnny Lee Miller (Trainspotting), Gulliver McGrath (Hugo), Helena Bonham Carter (Sweeney Todd), Christopher Lee (The Lord of the Rings), and Jackie Earle Haley (Shutter Island), Dark Shadows is due to be released in the US and UK on May 11th.
