Coming from The Counterfeiters director Stefan Ruzowitzky, Deadfall follows a brother and sister on the run from a casino heist gone wrong, before they end up in a car crash, get stranded in the snow, and have to think of a new way to survive; as seen in the recently released trailer (now available to view below).
Starring Eric Bana (The Time Traveler’s Wife) and Olivia Wilde (Cowboys & Aliens) as the pair of criminal siblings, Deadfall finds the pair splitting up, and Wilde being rescued from the wilderness by an ex-boxer named Jay (Charlie Hunnam, Sons of Anarchy), before the whole thing tuns into a nasty home-invasion/siege movie, where Jay’s parents (played by Carrie’s Sissy Spacek, and Blade’s Kris Kristofferson) end up involved with the whole mess.
Also starring Kate Mara (Ironclad), Jason Cavalier (Immortals), Alain Goulem (18 to Life), and Allison Graham (Swamp Devil), Deadfall has been scripted by newcomer Zach Dean, and is due to be released in the US on December 7th (after a Video on Demand release on November 2nd), but is still lacking an official UK release date.
