While it seems like anyone and everyone in Hollywood has already been cast in Django Unchained; the upcoming western from Pulp Fiction director Quentin Tarantino; the director has just added four more names to the cast-list; including James Remar (Dexter), Tom Wopat (The Dukes of Hazzard), James Russo (Public Enemies), and Todd Allen (Silverado).
Jamie Foxx (The Kingdom) will headline the film as Django; a freed slave who teams up with a German bounty hunter (Christophe Waltz, Inglorious Basterds) to take on various people who’ve wronged him in the past, and attempt to free his wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington, Ray) from the clutches of evil ranch owner Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio, Inception).
Co-starring Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction), Kurt Russell (The Thing), Don Johnson (Machete), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception), Gerald McRaney (Deadwood), and Tom Savini (From Dusk Till Dawn), Django Unchained is due to begin filming in January, ahead of a December 25th 2012 US release date, and a December 26th 2012 UK release.
