Best know for playing the charismatic Dr. Turk in TV’s Scrubs, Donald Faison has just seen his name added to the cast-list of the upcoming superhero sequel Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall; which is based on Mark Millar’s graphic novel, and has just had a new banner released online (now available to view below).
Faison is set to star as a man known as Doctor Gravity (an English major who likes people to believe he’s actually a physics professor with a “gravity pole”), and will join the cast of returning stars Aaron Johnson, Nicolas Cage, Chloe Moretz, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who’ll not be directed by Matthew Vaughn this time around, but find Jeff Wadlow (Never back Down) on writing and directing duty, for the film which is due to be released in the latter half of next year.
