Coming from The Dark Knight trilogy director Christopher Nolan, below you’ll find the official ‘Announcement’ teaser trailer for the upcoming World War II epic Dunkirk.
Set during the allied evacuation of Dunkirk; where, surrounded by enemy forces, and with their backs to the sea, hundreds of thousands of troops were forced to evacuate the continent and flee to England with the aid of not only the British forces, but everyday citizens, and anyone who could help.
With a cast which includes a number of Nolan’s past workmates; including Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy; and other notable actors such as Mark Rylance (Bridge Of Spies), Kenneth Branagh (Thor), and even One Direction’s Harry Styles.
Production is still underway, but we can expect to see Nolan’s Dunkirk (hopefully retaining the fantastic tone of this initial trailer) when it’s released on July 21st next year in both the US and UK.
