London’s oldest cinema; the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill; will soon be hosting a series of special screenings, beginning with the latest installment in the extremely popular Pirates of the Caribbean franchise; Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Celebrating its 100th year of business this year, the Electric Cinema will be offering a premium viewing experience for anyone who comes along to the special event; boasting the extreme comfort of leather armchairs, a selection of cocktails and Caribbean themed nibbles (with drinks including helpings of Sparrow Punch, or a Fountain of Youth cocktail); all designed to compliment the film, and ensure guests see the latest blockbuster in as much luxury as possible.
Screenings of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides are taking place on Sunday May 22nd (at 5.45pm), and Saturday May 28th (at 6.30pm), and anyone interested in attending a showing at one of London’s most iconic picture houses can email piratesofthecaribbean@electrichouse.com for more information.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (the fourth film in the popular franchise; which sees Johnny Depp returning to the iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow for another tale of swashbuckling adventure) is being released in the UK on May 18th, and in the US on May 20th, and our review of the film can be found here, while the latest clips, posters and trailers can be found here.
