Coming from the writer of Training Day (David Ayer), End Of Watch is the next gritty L.A. cop drama to come out of Hollywood, looks to be using an almost documentary style to enhance the realism of the onscreen action, and recently had a Red Band trailer released online (now available to view below).
Starring Jake Gyllenhaal (Source Code) and Michael Peña (The Lincoln Lawyer) as two LAPD partners working in one of the toughest districts in Los Angeles, End Of Watch will find the boys attacking a dangerous cartel head-on, and quickly finding they’ve been greenlit (marked for death).
Also directed by David Ayer, and co-starring Anna Kendrick (Twilight), Cody Horn (Magic Mike), America Ferrera (How to Train Your Dragon), Frank Grillo (Warrior), Natalie Martinez (Death Race), and David Harbour (Quantum of Solace), End Of Watch is due to be released on September 21st in the US, but won’t be making its official UK release date until November 23rd.
