Marking the directorial debut of accomplished screenwriter Alex Garland (Dredd, 28 Days Later), Ex_Machina has received widespread praise from both critics and audiences alike, and is now available to own on Blu-ray and DVD, and in order to celebrate it’s recent release we’ve got a brand new Ex_Machina clip available below.
Starring Domhnall Gleeson (About Time) as a young tech employee getting an exclusive opportunity to spend the weekend at his boss’ private retreat, and more importantly meet a brand new A.I. named Ava (Alicia Vikander, Seventh Son), Ex_Machina explores theories of consciousness, and being, as Caleb (Gleeson) attempts to decide whether or not Ava is alive, under the eerie gaze of his unusual host (Oscar Isaac, Drive), and a sinister undertone he’s unable to pinpoint.
Watch the clip below to see Caleb’s first meeting with Ava, and for more information about the film and its home entertainment release you can find our full Ex_Machina Blu-ray review here.
