After injecting new life into the franchise, and raking a rather hefty $620m at the Box Office, there was never really any doubt that there’d be a sequel to Fast Five, and now, with Fast Six well into its shooting schedule, we’ve been treated to a couple of stills from the film.
Coming via way of Vin Diesel’s Facebook Page, the stills feature not only Diesel himself (returning as Dominic Toretto), but a snap of Diesel with Paul Walker (who’ll be back as Brian O’Conner) and Dwayne Johnson (who was clearly the biggest selling point of Fast Five, will again be playing agent Luke Hobbs, and, if the marketing gurus have any sense, will have a huge fight with Diesel at some point).
With Fast Five’s Justin Lin returning to the director’s chair, and a cast that includes the likes of Luke Evans (The Three Musketeers), Gina Carano (Haywire), and Joe Taslim (The Raid), alongside returning stars Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Michelle Rodriguez, Fast Six is due to be released on May 24th next year, in both the US and UK.
