Bar a couple of headshots of Batman, and image where he was standing on a mostly obscured Batmobile, a shot of Superman, and even Wonder Woman, we’ve actually seen very little of Zack Snyder’s upcoming Batman V Superman: Daw Of Justice, but now have an official image of the Batmobile available to view below.
Coming from Snyder himself (who also directed the recent Superman movie Man of Steel) the new image shows a Batmobile which is very different to the Tumbler seen in Christopher Nolan’s Batman movies, but seems to be sticking with the mobile tank theme, and taking it to the next level.
With plot details fairly limited at this time, we do know Henry Cavill will be reprising his role as Superman, and going toe-to-toe with Batman (now played by Argo star, and former Daredevil, Ben Affleck), in a movie which will also include comic-book favourites; Wonder Woman (played by Fast & Furious star Gal Gadot); Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg, Now You See Me); and Aquaman (Jason Momoa, Conan).
Laurence Fishburne, Amy Adams, and Diane Lane will all be reprising their Man of Steel roles, and joined by Jeremy Irons (the Die Hard: With A Vengeance star who’ll be appearing as Batman/Bruce Wayne’s butler Alfred), when Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (the film which Warner/DC hope will successfully set up a Justice League movie) is released on March 25th 2016 in both the US and UK.
