Steven Knight’s new miniseries will be arriving to BBC One and FX sometime this year, and it’s just been given its first trailer.
Taboo stars Tom Hardy (The Revenant) as James Keziah Delaney, an adventurer who returns to Britain from Africa along with fourteen stolen diamonds to seek vengeance after the death of his father. The eight-episodes series will be produced by Knight and Ridley Scott, and is based on an original idea from Hardy and his father, Chips Hardy.
Also starring will be Oona Chaplin (Quantum of Solace), David Hayman (The Boy In the Striped Pyjamas), Michael Kelly (Everest), Jonathan Pryce (Pirates of the Caribbean), Fiona Skinner (Call the Midwife) and Edward Hogg (Jupiter Ascending).
