Kurt Russell’s newest outing is a little horror/western called Bone Tomahawk, which has been given its first trailer today. Russell will appear in Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight later this year, but before that, he must fight a bunch of cannablistic cave dwellers.
Bone Tomahawk premiered at the Fantastic Fest in Austin last week, and has been lauded by critics. The film is directed by S. Craig Zahler (making his directorial debut), and co-stars Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring) and Sean Young (Blade Runner), and will arrive in theatres, iTunes and on VOD on October 23.
Russell stars as one of four men in the Wild West who set out to rescue a group of captives from flesh-eating savages. If that isn’t good enough for you, you’ll also be able to see him in Tarantino’s latest on January 8, 2016.
