The trailer for Paul McGuigan’s new horror/comedy Victor Frankenstein is here, and it’s absolutely mental.
A reimagining of Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel, James McAvoy (X-Men: Days of Future Past) stars as Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant scientist who thinks he has mastered man’s mortality. His protege Igor, played by Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) realises that Victor’s experiments are going too far, and it’s up to him to save his friend from madness.
The screenplay was written by Max Landis (Chronicle), and will also star Jessica Brown Findlay (Downton Abbey), Andrew Scott (Pride) and Mark Gatiss (Sherlock).
Victor Frankenstein will see an American release date of November 25, and will then hit UK theatres on December 4.
