Game of Thrones Season 4 Trailers and Images

After the shocking turns taken in the closing episodes of season three (which was recently released on Blu-ray and DVD), George R. R. Martin’s epic fantasy novels are soon to grace the small screen once again, and you can now watch the official Game Of Thrones Season Four trailer below.

Adapted from Martin’s A Song Of Ice And Fire series of fantasy novels, the HBO produced series focuses on the struggles for power in the fictional land of Westeros; where the Seven Kingdoms are in turmoil, and seemingly every great house (of which there are many) is vying to sit on the Iron Throne (one of the coolest, yet clearly most uncomfortable, thrones ever devised; largely as it’s made entirely from the swords of fallen warriors, and enemies of the ancient king who forged it).

Up until now, each episode has aired in the US on Sunday night (on the HBO network) and made its way onto UK TV channels the following night (taking the Monday at 9pm timeslot) on Sky Atlantic, though for the first time ever UK audiences will now be able to experience the season premiere (and each subsequent episode) at the exact time it airs in the US, on Sky Atlantic, completely ad free. Though given the time difference, that does mean fans will have to wake at 2am for the privilege.

Titled “Two Swords” the season premiere’s official synopsis states…

Tyrion welcomes a guest to King’s Landing. At Castle Black, Jon Snow finds himself unwelcome. Dany is pointed to Meereen, the mother of all slave cities. Arya runs into an old friend.

And while the premiere is now merely a few short hours away, anyone who simply cannot wait to see what’s coming can view the official Game of Thrones season 4 trailer below, see a host of season 4 images beneath that, or further still explore HBO’s Youtube playlist of season 4 videos (including clips covering everything from direction, costumes, weapons, and more), before viewing a final selection of season 4 images at the bottom of the page.
