There’s a new Ocean’s movie in the works, but this time around it will be an all-female production.
Gary Ross (The Hunger Games, Pleasantville) is attached to direct the film, with George Clooney to produce and Sandra Bullock to star. The pair collaborated for Our Brand is Crisis, a political drama set to be released in January, 2016. The trilogy’s producer, the late Jerry Weintraub, director Steven Soderbergh and Clooney have been working on the project since last year, and writer Olivia Milch (Little Women) has been working on a script over the past few months, according to The Playlist.
We’re scarce on plot details, so there’s no word of how this film might or might not relate to the original trilogy. Gary Ross’ Civil War drama The Free State of Jones will be released in May of next year in the US, with no word as yet of a UK release.
