While the four teasers posters available to view below were released over the 4th of July weekend (and spread across The Huffington Post, Awards Daily, Indiewire, and Hitfix), we’ve now got a new trailer for the latest David Fincher (Fight Club) directed thriller, and you can now watch the official Gone Girl trailer below..
Based on the novel by Gillian Flynn (who actually wrote the screenplay for the movie), Gone Girl traces the abduction of a seemingly happy woman (played by Jack Reacher’s Rosamund Pike) which sparks a media circus, and begins to see suspicion land on her husband (Ben Affleck, Argo); exposing the hidden truths beneath their outward facade of a seemingly happy marriage.
Co-starring Scott McNairy (12 Years A Slave), Neil Patrick Harris (the How I Met Your Mother star last seen in A Million Ways To Die In The West), Boyd Holbrook (Out of the Furnace), Missi Pyle (2005’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), and Tyler Perry (Alex Cross) Gone Girl is due to be released on October 3rd in both the US and Uk.
