On Halloween, the world will be treated to the premiere of Ash vs. Evil Dead, a continuation of Sam Raimi’s cult franchise. To add to the excitement, a new trailer has been released, which promises the same bloody scares fans have come to love.
Bruce Campbell returns as Ash, and in this revamped version Ash works in a department store stacking shelves until a Deadite plague surfaces. With his trusty chainsaw and boomstick, he once again must face the legions of hell as he becomes mankind’s only hope.
Also starring in the series will be Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas), Ray Santiago (In Time) and Lucy Lawless (Xena: Princess Warrior). Campbell will executive produce the series as will Raimi and Rob Tapert, who produced the original franchise.
Ash vs. Evil Dead will premiere on October 31 on American televisions via Starz.
