Coming from returning director James Gunn, below you’ll find the first official teaser trailer for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2; the highly anticipated sequel to Marvel’s immensely enjoyable 2014 space romp starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, and the voices (and mo-cap talents) of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper.
Our misfit band of unlikely heroes; loveable rogue Starlord/Peter Quill (Pratt); assassin Gamora (Saldana); vengeance-seeking warrior Drax (Bautista); loud-mouthed Racoon with a machine gun Rocket (Cooper); and talking tree Groot (Diesel); will all be returning, and here acting as much more of a cohesive unit from the get go.
Still, teething problems will be had, and after an early mistake leaves them facing the wrath of a powerful alien named Ayesha (Elizabeth Debicki, Everest) the Guardians find themselves teaming-up with Yondu (a returning Michael Rooker) in an effort to once again save the galaxy.
Karen Gillan will also return as Nebula, and Glenn Close’s Nova Prime will also appear, in the film which co-stars Sylvester Stallone (Creed), Kurt Russell (The Hateful Eight), Nathan Fillion (Firefly), and Tommy Flanagan (Sons of Anarchy), and is due to be released on April 28th 2017 in the UK, before making its official US release date on May 5 2017.
