Obviously have a gigantic superhero crossover every couple of years isn’t enough for Marvel Studios’ as not only are the studio releasing The Avengers Age Of Ultron next month (the latest trailer for which can be seen here), they’re also bringing us Captain America: Civil War next year; a film with a growing roster which has now confirmed Jeremy Renner will appear.
Reprising his Avengers’ role as hawked, Renner will once again appear alongside Chris Evans (Captain America) and Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man) in a movie which pits Iron Man and Captain America at odds with one another, and already has a pretty crowded slate; with Chadwick Boseman, Anthony Mackie, Scarlett Johansson, Frank Grillo, Daniel Bruhl, and Sebastian Stan already set to appear (as Black Panther, Falcon, Black Widow, Crossbones, Baron Zemo, and The Winter Soldier respectively), alongside a possible new Spider-Man (currently only rumoured but now not only possible, but increasingly likely, thanks to the recent deal between Sony and Marvel).
Due to be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo (the pair behind Captain America: The Winter Soldier), Captain America: Civil War is due to be released on April 29th 2016 in the UK, before making its official US release date on May 6th 2016.
Avengers: Age Of Ultron will be released in the UK on April 23rd, and in the US on May 1st.
