Below you’ll find the Hidden Figures official trailer, showcasing the incredible true story of the African-American women who, working from behind-the-scenes, served as the brains behind one of NASA’s greatest ever accomplishments.
Starring Taraji P. Henson (2010’s The Karate Kid), Octavia Spencer (The Help), and Janelle Monáe (The Equalizer), as three brilliant mathematicians, and just three of a group of truly brilliant African-American women working at NASA to put astronaut John Glenn into orbit; an operation which turned around the Space Race, and restored the public’s faith in NASA; Hidden Figures will show not only the incredible achievements of these women, but the difficulties they faced in working in such an intrinsically white, and male, workplace.
Co-starring Kevin Costner (Man of Steel), Kirsten Dunst (Small Soldiers), and Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), with Glenn Powell (The Dark Knight Rises) picking up the part of John Glenn, Hidden Figures has been written and directed by Theodore Melfi (St. Vincent), and is due to be released in cinemas on February 24, following a limited platform released on February 10.
