Ben Wheatley’s High-Rise isn’t due for release until March but it’s still been getting rave reviews from the festival circuit. If the film is given the wide distribution that it apparently deserves, it’ll probably appear on many people’s best of the year lists. Until then, we’ll have to be content with this poster that was just released today. The movie’s official Twitter account has promised something new for tomorrow, so maybe we’ll be seeing the film’s first full, official trailer.
Based on the novel by J.G. Ballard, High-Rise follows a class war that erupts in a luxury apartment block, where ”modern elevators become violent battlegrounds and cocktail parties degenerate into marauding attacks on enemy floors.” Starring will be Tom Hiddleston (Thor), Jeremy Irons (The Borgias), Sienna Miller (American Sniper), Luke Evans (Dracula Untold), Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men) and James Purefoy (John Carter).
High-Rise will be released in the UK on March 18.
