Yes, it’s only a rumour at this point (coming from “unnamed sources” listed by JoBlo), but it’s an exciting one nonetheless; as we could see The Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok.
We’ve several Marvel films to fit in before the release of Ragnarok; including Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, and the new Spider-Man; but the rumour mill has already predicted a fairly cogent plot for the film, which includes Asgard’s favourite hammer-wielding son battling an Asgardian apocalypse, clashing with adoptive brother Loki again, and possibly dealing with influences from another planet (Planet Hulk maybe?).
Chris Hemsworth will once again be reprising the role of Thor for the third stand-alone Thor film; should The Hulk appear he’ll once again be portrayed by Mark Ruffalo; and Tom Hiddleston will likely return as Loki, when the Taika Waititi (What We Do In The Shadows) directed Thor: Ragnarok is released on October 27th 2017 in the UK, before making its official US release date on November 3rd 2017.
