He’s had a fairly successful music career (being part of the NWA), and a few well received stabs at acting (including appearances in the Friday movies, Boyz N Tha Hood, and the upcoming Rampart), and now Ice cube will be making his first venture into the world of TV, via an upcoming drama for FX; Eye For An Eye.
Cube will both star in and produce Eye For An Eye, which will follow a veteran paramedic (Cube) who snaps after having to visit the scene of one violent crime too many, and decides it’s time to start seeking revenge, and going the ‘eye for an eye’ route, but soon sees his own personal life taking a hit as a result.
There’s no word yet on exactly when Eye For An Eye maybe expected (or even if it will get picked up), as writers are currently being sought to pen the script, though Cube’s still very busy trying to get the next Friday movie made, producing a TV version of his movie Are We There Yet?, and will soon be seen in not only Rampart, but the upcoming reboot of 21 Jump Street.
