Out now on Blu-ray and DVD, Immortals has been referred to as ‘the film Clash of the Titans should have been’, and in order to celebrate the release of this new, epic, fantasy hack-n-slash, movie we’ve got two clips from the film available to view below.
Set in a time when mythology was reality, Immmortals follows a young peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill, The Tudors) as he becomes embroiled in a conflict spanning not only towns and countries, but crossing over into the heavens; as he attempts to stop the evil King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke, The Wrestler) from finding a magical bow and unleashing the wrath of the titans upon every living soul; and in the first clip below we see a traitor attempting to join the ranks of Hyperion’s army, but being met with a rather solemn reception.
Coming from Immortals’ climactic finale, the second clip is a short excerpt from the scene in which Theseus and Hyperion finally catch up to one another, and attempt to end one another’s quests with a brutal showdown; closing the film which co-stars John Hurt (Alien), Frieda Pinto (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), Stephen Dorff (Blade), and Luke Evans (Clash of the Titans).
Immortals is out now on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray Triple Play, and DVD, and you can find our review of the 3D Blu-ray release here.
