Want to see Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston playing an undercover agent tasked with taking down some of the world’s most dangerous drug cartels (including targeting the operations of infamous drug kingpin Pablo Escobar)? Well you’re in luck, as you can see all that in the new trailer for The Infiltrator below.
Cranston stars as Robert Mazur (the film having been adapted from his autobiography), and finds himself laying his life on the line to infiltrate international drug rings, while simultaneously enjoying the high-life, the women, the status, and the fun which came with acquiring increasingly high-profile mob connections, laundering money for some of the world’s most dangerous criminals, and finding out how deeply into the heart of society their influences ran.
Diane Kruger (National Treasure), Benjamin Bratt (Demolition Man), Amy Ryan (Birdman), and John Leguizamo (John Wick) co-star in the Brad Furman (The Lincoln Lawyer) directed film which is due to be released in the US on July 15th, but is yet to secure an official UK release date.
