Apparently showing us just how Tony Stark will end up “cut off from the world and needing to focus on his intellect to get himself out of his situation” in the upcoming superhero sequel, Marvel have just released a new piece of concept art from Iron Man 3 (which is now available to view below).
Drawn by artist Ryan Meinerding (who called the piece ‘Caged’), the art shows us that Stark (who’ll once again be played by a returning Robert Downey Jr.) may end up wearing only part of the Iron Man suit, and get himself into a spot of bother with some armed assailants, in the Shane Black (Lethal Weapon) directed movie which will see Gwyneth Paltrow, Paul Bettany, Jon Favreau, and Don Cheadle all returning to their previous roles.
Guy Pearce (Prometheus), Ben Kingsley (Shutter Island), William Sadler (Die Hard 2), James Badge Dale (The Grey), and Sam Elliott (reprising his Marvel role as General Ross), will also be joining the cast of the film which revolves around new terrorist groups and nanotechnology, and is due to be released on May 3rd 2013, in both the US and UK.
