Marvel Studios certainly know their marketing, and with every fanboy, fangirl, film-fan, comic-book-geek, and warm-blooded individual with access to a cinema, currently drooling over the impending release of The Avengers (or Avengers Assemble as UK viewers are now supposed to call it), they’ve released a slew of casting announcements regarding another of their hotly-anticipated upcoming superhero movies – Iron Man 3; which has just been joined by Jessica Chastain.
Joining the recently cast Ben Kingsley (the Shutter Island start who’ll play the film’s villain) and Guy Pearce (Memento), Chastain (who’s best known for her part in The Help) will be joining the cast as a sexy scientist who’s intellectual wit easily matches Stark’s, and appearing alongside returning stars Robert Downey Jr. (as Tony Stark/Iron Man), Gwyneth Paltrow (as Pepper Potts), and Don Cheadle (as Rhodey/War Machine), when Iron Man 3 begins filming next month; ahead of its May 3rd 2013 release date.
