Coming from writer/director Woody Allen (Midnight in Paris) Irrational Man tells the tale of an aimless philosophy professor who struggling to find any meaning or joy in life, and you can now see the new poster for the film on the right (click to view full size), and the official trailer below.
Joaquin Phoenix (Gladiator) stars as the aforementioned professor who, with the aid of a bright and beautiful young student (Emma Stone, Birdman), attempts to find a reason to live; becoming sucked in by a stranger’s conversation, and beginning a journey which could affect him, Jill (Emma Stone), and the lonely professor he’s been seeing (Parker Posey, Grace of Monaco), forever.
Having already had its US release on July 17th, Irrational Man will make its way onto UK cinemas screens on September 11th.
