Following on from the release of the first images from Tom Cruise’s next Jack Reacher movie, and Entertainment Tonight’s first-look, we now have a Jack Reacher: Never Go Back official trailer available to view below.
Based on Lee Child’s 18th Reacher novel, Never Go Back is the sequel to 2012’s Jack Reacher, which sees Cruise reprising the titular role of the determined vigilante/wanderer, as Reacher heads back to his old military base in order to help an Army Major (played by Captain America: The Winter Soldier‘s Cobie Smulders) who’s been accused of espionage. Yet clearing the major’s name isn’t Reacher’s only trial, as he finds he’s also been accused of committing a murder in the town 16 years ago.
Directed by Edward Zwick (The Last Samurai), Jack Reacher: Never Go Back will co-star Robert Knepper (Prison Break‘s T-Bag), Aldis Hodge (Straight Outta Compton), and Holt McCallany (The Perfect Guy), when it’s released on October 21st in both the US and UK.
