Mission: Impossible star Tom Cruise will soon be bringing Lee Child’s classic literary powerhouse Jack Reacher to life on the big screen (despite lacking the physicality of the 6ft giant), and can now be seen in character in the latest poster for the film (right), and in the second trailer for Jack Reacher, which is now available to view below.
Directed by Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects), Jack Reacher has been adapted from Child’s novel One Shot, will find Reacher investigating the seemingly open and shut case of a sniper picking off pedestrians (which turns out to be more than meets the eye), co-stars Jai Courtney (Spartacus), Rosamund Pike (Wrath of the Titans), Robert Duvall (The Road), Richard Jenkins (Let Me In), and Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man), and is due to be released on December 21st in the US, before making its official UK release date on December 26th (Boxing Day).
