While his last turn as the headliner in a video-game to tim adaptation may not have gotten the reception the studio hoped for, Prince of Persia star Jake Gyllenhaal (more recently seen in Southpaw, and the excellent Demolition) has just signed on to take the lead in the big screen adaptation of Tom Clancy’s The Division.
Set in a post-apocalyptic New York City – devastated after a massive smallpox epidemic – The Division sees players work as part of the Strategic Homeland Division, aiming to both quell the rising tide of crime within the city, and find the source of the smallpox outbreak.
