Stallone’s Vietnam War soldier John Rambo could be making his way to the small screen.
Fox Network is collaborating with Stallone to make a television reboot of the classic action series, while the star is also set to executive produce. The series is tentatively titled Rambo: New Blood, although there is no word yet if Stallone will have any on-screen role. The reboot will explore the relationship between Rambo and his son, JR.
Talks of a fifth entry into the canon have been circulating since 2009, but no official announcement has yet been made on the continuation of the film series. If you’re impatient and need to see Sly on the big screen now, feel free to go and see his latest Creed, which is in American theatres now. Britons will have to wait until January 15, however, to see the seventh film in the Rocky series.
