Zack Snyder (the man behind Man of Steel, and the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice) has just confirmed Justice League – Part 1 will begin filming on April 11th.
Cameras will then start rolling a mere two weeks after the release of Batman V Superman, and give Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, Ezra Miller’s Flash, and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg fuller roles – following their upcoming cameos in Bats V Supes. Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot will all also be returning as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman respectively, for the film everyone is calling DC’s answer to The Avengers.
Snyder believes “the idea that we could begin to boot up a Justice League concept was a cool thing,” and has been focusses on establishing a world where the rest of the heroes can believably exist, ready for the release of Justice League – Part 1 on November 17th 2017.
Before then however, we’ll see both Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (on March 25th in the US and UK, now with a confirmed runtime of 2 hours 31 minutes), and the stand-alone Wonder Woman film (on June 23rd 2017).
