After the success of the first movie (which earned a respectable $153 million at the worldwide Box Office) Universal is pushing ahead with a Ride Along sequel, and has just cast The Hangover’s Ken Jeong in Ride Along 2.
Returning director Tim Story will once again capture stars Ice Cube and Kevin Hart as the predictably different characters (Cube is the badass, grumpy, policeman to Hart’s enthusiastic yet loud-mouthed and cowardly Hart), in the sequel which will add Benjamin Bratt (Demolition Man) and Olivia Munn (Magic Mike) to the growing castlist, before Ride Along 2 is released on January 15th 2016.
