With Niels Arden Oplev (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) set to start rolling the camera on his Flatliners remake in the next few days, a key member of the original cast has just joined the film; none other than Kiefer Sutherland.
While he may be busy with his TV schedule (headlining new show Designated Survivor), Sutherland will pop up in the remake of the 1990 film which saw him, Julia Roberts, Kevin Bacon, and William Baldwin starring as medical students who conducted near-death experiments on one another (stopping each others hearts) in order to see if there was any life after death (obviously a good idea right? – wrong!), and will star alongside Ellen Page (Freeheld), Diego Luna (Milk), Nina Dobrev (Lets Be Cops), and James Norton (Grantchester), when Flatliners is released next year.
