Adapted from the novel Cogan’s Trade by George V Higgins, Killing Them Softly is an upcoming violent crime-thriller with an all-star cast that’s just had its first trailer released online; a trailer which is now available to view below.
Directed by Andrew Domink (writer/director of The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford), Killing Them Softly follows a hitman who’s hired to track down and take out two low-level crooks who knocked over a mob-run poker game, and will star Brad Pitt (Fight Club), Ray Liotta (Goodfellas), James Gandolfini (The Sopranos), Richard Jenkins (Let Me In), Sam Shepard (Black Hawk Down), Scoot McNairy (Monsters), and Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises), when it’s released on September 21st in the UK, and on October 19th in the US.
