Safe House’s trailer is currently doing the rounds at cinemas nationwide, and now Universal have released a new poster for the CIA-based, Cape Town-set, thriller (available to view below) which stars Denzel Washington (Training Day), and Ryan Reynolds (The Green Lantern).
Washington plays a rogue CIA agent who’s been successfully evading capture for years, until he suddenly turns up in Cape Town and gets handed to a rather green agent (Reynolds) for processing; at which point everything goes haywire, the bullets start flying, and the pair are thrown together as they begin to get attacked from every direction, and aren’t entirely sure who’s after them, or why.
Safe House has been directed by Daniel Espinosa (Easy Money), co-stars Brendan Gleeson (The Guard), Sam Shepard (Black Hawk Down), Liam Cunningham (The Guard), Vera Farmiga (The Departed), and Robert Patrick (Terminator 2), and is due to be released on February 10th in the US, before making its UK release date on February 24th.
