We’ve already seen the release of two different posters, and an official trailer, but a new image for the upcoming animated adventure movie The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn was recently released online, and is now available to view below.
Based the classic Tintin books from Belgian cartoonist Herge, The Secret of the Unicorn is based on three of the classic Tintin tales that have entertained generations of children; including seeing Tintin (voiced by Billy Elliot’s Jamie Bell), and his trusty dog Snowy, meeting their drunken friend Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy), and try to discover the whereabouts of the sunken treasure ship The Unicorn.
Produced by Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy) and directed by Steven Spielberg (Jurassic Park), The Adventures of Tintin also features the voice talent of Daniel Craig (Casino Royale), Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (Paul), Cary Elwes (Saw), and Mackenzie Crook (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl), some truly stunning animation, and is due to be released on October 26th in the UK, before making its US release date on December 23rd.
