While we’ve only just had the release of the new UK trailer for Rian Johnson’s (The Brothers Bloom) upcoming sci-fi action movie Looper, fans in the US have just got their hands on a brand new trailer (which is now available below); despite the fact the director himself has said it’ll be a film best seen with minimal exposure beforehand.
Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception) as a hitman who’s victims are sent back to him from mafia-types residing 30 years in the future (via the magic of outlaw time-travel), Looper finds said hitman getting more than he bargained for when his latest victim turns out to not only be a future version of himself, but finding out that he grows up to become Bruce Willis, and has to spend the film trying to track down and kill the Die Hard star.
Co-starring Jeff Daniels (Speed), Emily Blunt (The Adjustment Bureau), Paul Dano (The Girl Next Door), Garrett Dillahunt (Deadwood), and Piper Perabo (Coyote Ugly) Looper is due to be released on September 28th in both the US and UK.
