Now known as the dangerous Queen Cersei Lannister in HBO’s Game of Thrones, Lena Headey (previously known for her role in 300, and as the titular ‘mother of the future’ in The Sarah Connor Chronicles) has now signed on to join the upcoming sci-fi thriller Vigilandia.
Coming from James De Monaco (The Negotiator), Vigilandia is about as mysterious as a film can get at this point; as neither he nor his producers are giving away any details about the film, other than the fact it’ll be a fairly low budget affair, and is due to co-star Training Day’s Ethan Hawke.
Anyone wishing to see more of Lena however can catch her in the upcoming second season of Game of Thrones (which stars up again on April 1st in the US; on HBO; and on April 2nd in the UK; on Sky Atlantic), and Dredd; which is due to be released later this year.
